January weddings in Costa Rica really are something special. It’s dry season for them, perfect warm weather, lush greenery, and the kind of sunsets that do not even feel real. This wedding was relaxed, intentional, and full of joy from start to finish.

The couple and many of their guests traveled to the coast to celebrate together, turning the wedding into a full experience rather than just one day.

Getting Ready and First Look at Tamarindo Diria Beach Resort

They got ready at the resort where they were staying, which made the morning feel calm and unrushed. Ocean air, palm trees, and soft light set the tone right away.

They chose to do their first look right there on the property, surrounded by greenery and the sounds of the beach nearby. It was quiet, emotional, and such a sweet way for them to start the day together before everything else unfolded.

A Relaxed Take on a Wedding Party

Instead of a traditional wedding party, they asked their close friends to wear pastel dresses and suits. It looked beautiful and felt very them. Throughout the day, they took photos with different groups of friends, keeping things natural and fun without the pressure of formal roles.

A Beachfront Ceremony at Pangas Beach Club

They were married overlooking the ocean at Pangas Beach Club, with coastline stretching behind them. As the ceremony began, the light started to soften and the sunset slowly rolled in, creating the most incredible backdrop.

Sunset and Dancing All Night

With around one hundred guests, the reception felt energetic and full of life. As the sun set, the celebration kicked off and the dance floor stayed full well into the night. Guests laughed, danced, and truly soaked in every moment together.

This Costa Rica wedding was a perfect example of how meaningful a destination celebration can be when it is centered around connection, beautiful surroundings, and simply enjoying the people you love most.
