Three things you need to keep in mind when creating your Wedding Timeline:

Weddings

One of the best ways to reduce stress on your big day is having a timeline! They help map out your wedding day and give you a rough idea of what you should be doing in certain timeframes.

Keep in mind — timelines are not meant to be followed to the T, they are meant to be more of a guide!

So here are a few things to keep in mind when planning your wedding timeline — specifically when it comes to photos:

Are you planning on doing a first look? Then have some of your wedding portraits done during this time (before the ceremony) to give you time to enjoy cocktail hour instead of feeling rushed afterward!

Keep all your wedding details in one place first thing in the morning! This will allow your photographer to take flat-lay photos of all your beautiful details without having you trying to figure out where everything is the morning of.

Are you planning on doing sunset/golden hour photos? Then you should take note of what time the sunsets! This will help you plan everything at the end of your wedding timeline to ensure you can leave and get these photos taken at the correct time.

And remember, when creating a wedding timeline — be open-minded! Most of the time it will not be followed PERFECTLY! And that is okay! So allow yourself to go with the flow with changes.

Either way, your day will be perfect, and everything will work out in the end!

So don’t stress too much!
