Wedding planning in itself can be very stressful!!
From picking the perfect venue, florals, dress, food, photographer, colors, paper goods, accessories, etc. I mean, the list can go on and on!
Make sure all the decisions you’re making align with what will make you happy and make your day… YOUR day. No one else’s.
Yes, getting advice from friends, family, even blogs can be very helpful but don’t allow all the different advice to shift what will genuinely bring you and your other half pure joy and happiness.
Seriously. Look at your planning list right now if you have to!
And take off or adjust anything that feels like isn’t 100% true to you. Even if that means taking a few people off your guest list because they don’t bring the kindest of spirits to events.
Invite people that make your life enjoyable!
Celebrate the desserts you want to enjoy!
Pick the dress that makes you feel like a million bucks! (Even if it’s not traditional!)
Start adding things to your wedding list that will make your day the best it can be. Make it a day that will be a reflection of who you two are.
In all reality, your day might not be perfect in terms of everything going exactly to plan — and that is okay!
But if your day is filled with all the things that you love and bring you tons of joy — then it will make your day PERFECT!!
So if you can, go and reevaluate what is important to the two of you and start making changes to your wedding planning!!
