I always tell any couple planning for their wedding day to make it their day, do what makes them happy.
That was exactly what this day was.
Ali and Calvin were absolute dream clients who created the perfect wedding day that was unique to them. It was so obvious for everyone to see how madly in love these two were. And I loved that I got to capture that! It was an honor.
The venue took place in Fox Canyon Vineyards in Marsing, ID, and it had the most GORGEOUS views ever! It had this stunning overlook of the Snake River, you could see all the beautiful mountains and the valley. Fox Canyon Vineyards did a wonderful job blending rustic elegance and southern charm all in one creating a breathtaking atmosphere the minute you stepped onto the venue.
The vineyard was private, allowing the wedding to feel intimate… even though they had over 400 people present for their day! Ali and Calvin’s families we so kind and welcoming. Making us feel like we were a part of the family as well.
The number of people that traveled just to be a part of this wonderful couples day was so amazing. I love it when the couple getting married is surrounded by all their friend and family who are just ready to have an awesome time.
And the food… oh the food!! Was absolutely SPECTACULAR! They used local ingredients to create the perfect meals and their presentation was unlike any other. So unique and so memorable.
If you get anything out of this blog it would be this.
Do what makes you happy on your wedding day. Make it YOUR day!
Have the big wedding party, have the small wedding party, wear the traditional dress, wear the sexy dress that makes your feel like a million bucks, invite 20 people, or invite 400 like Ali and Calvin.
Whatever you decide — that is the right decision. Period.
