Benefits of Planning a Micro Destination Wedding

Elopement

  • More quality time with your people. You spend more time with your loved ones when there are less people to share it with. Often times couples are trying to touch base and say “hello” to everyone before the night is over.
    • Being with a smaller amount of guests allows you to enjoy each moment together as the day unfolds.
  • Make your wedding custom to YOU! Smaller wedding gatherings allow for less people talking in your ear about what you should and shouldn’t do. If you are someone who wants to break tradition and get creative with it, micro weddings are perfect!
  • Save money! Less people = less money. Lucky for you you can cut cost on a variety of things including, catering, table decor, smaller event space, invitations, etc.
    • Added benefit of not having a huge guest count is you can spoil the select people you have there at your wedding. Maybe you do an open bar or spend more on an elaborate dinning experience.
    • I’ve seen some couples make a weekend out of it too with their loved ones. Doing a yacht cruise the day before or after or treating guest who come in to a welcome party.

Magaly and Andrei’s Mexico wedding was so beautiful. They got to spend it with their loved ones and include add ons they wanted to make their day more magical. They had a  confetti blower during their first dance that was an experience to see, a bunch of hanging floral that made the dancing area so breathtaking and open bar for their guest to enjoy. By cutting major costs, they got to include additional enhancements to the wedding.
